1, normal temperature hydrolysis desulfurization

There is a higher concentration of CO2 in the feed gas, conversion of organic sulfur absorption fine desulfurizer used cycle greatly reduced. CO2 and COS will beformed in the surface of competitive adsorption desulfurization agent, concentrationand the concentration of CO2 is larger than COS, thereby reducing the conversionof organic sulfur absorption ability, therefore in the organic sulfur adsorbent is added before the normal temperature hydrolysis. The main mechanism and middle temperature hydrolysis is basically the same:

COS + H2O (steam) = CO2 + H2S

CS2 + 2 H2O (steam) = CO2 + 2H2S

Process: the decarbonization gas → W102 pre finishing off the tower, tower, coolerheater, the hydrolysis of W504 → W104  compressor into fine desulfurization tower.

Pre dehydrating tower is mainly gas will enter the hydrolysis tower in H2S remove,make the reaction equilibrium moves to the right, the hydrolysis reaction morethoroughly. The heater is the role of the gas temperature is increased to dew pointabove, prevent water vapor condensation in the normal temperature hydrolysis catalyst adsorption effect of activated hydrolysis catalyst. Hydrolysis of gas cooling,H2S and a small amount of residual COS, CS2 in W104 desulfurization tower removal. Normal temperature hydrolysis catalyst for W504 type, loading 7m3.Operation conditions: pressure 0.6Mpa, the temperature 5560 C.

2, the actual running effect

Adopt comprehensive desulphurization technology, production operation in the design index, the total sulfur content of desulfurization after long-term in the <0.01ppm (see Table 3), which eliminate the toxic sulfide and ammonia on methanol catalyst, created the conditions for the stable operation of long period, highintensity of methanol plant. At present the production intensity of methanol catalyst has been more than 5000 tons of /m3 catalyst.

3, the conclusion

The Wuhan Colin provides integrated desulphurization technology and the W series desulfurization agent, ensure the methanol catalyst with high activity and long period operation.

In methanol production, technology of crude desulfurization, temperature andnormal temperature hydrolysis combined with alkali, can fundamentally solve thepoison of sulfur on the catalyst. Gas purification, is to improve the methanol catalyst production strength, guarantee the long-term stable operation of production.
